BIRGEJUPMI was present at the Arctic Dialogue in Potsdam, Germany, where Indigenous and Non-Indigenous researchers and policymakers discussed co-creation in Arctic research. The sessions focused on research ethics, funding structures, and Indigenous-led approaches to knowledge production.
On 25 March, WP4 hosted its second youth workshop in the coastal community of Bearalváhkki, following the first session in neighbouring Unjárga/Nesseby. Young people came together to share what it’s like to grow up in Bearalváhkki today, alongside their hopes and visions for the future.
