Ida’s article is a starting point for a much broader story. The BIRGEJUPMI project is an Indigenous-led collaboration across Arctic regions, including Sápmi and Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland). Through knowledge co-production and approaches such as “Two-Eyed Seeing,” we aim to strengthen cultural continuity, support communities, and rethink how research can serve both people and place.
Ida’s article is part of our broader work exploring questions around society’s foundations and ways of living. Her article reflects the ongoing process of dialogue, reflection, and collaboration within our project. Working together on Birgejupmi continues to show how knowledge develops through exchange, where each contribution can open up new perspectives and connect wider conversations. Ida’s article reflects the care and shared commitment behind our work. It is a meaningful step in an ongoing journey, one grounded in dialogue, respect, and the belief that diverse ways of knowing are essential for our futures.
