Jan Erik Henriksen’s article “Birgejupmi som samisk relasjonell helse” has been published in an anthology of Samisk helse- og kulturforståelse i praksis. 

The anthology brings together knowledge about the Sámi understanding of health and illness, and Sámi history and culture. It provides insights, how to create a safe environment in meetings with Indigenous peoples in social and health care services.

The book supports educational outcomes related to the Sámi status as an Indigenous people and their rights within health and social education programs.

It brings together diverse voices and expertise, including authors with lived experience, clinical practice, and research on Sámi cultural topics.
